NYFA 2014
In May 2014, over 1600 businesses, policymakers and politicians – including six heads of state – from across the African continent and beyond, gathered in Libreville, Gabon at the New York Forum AFRICA 2014 to discuss the continent’s future and to draw up a roadmap for its transformation.
The New York Forum AFRICA 2014 built on previous years’ discussions to focus on the concrete measures that will be needed to drive Africa’s transformation in its next stage of development. These areas included: deriving maximum long term benefit from natural resources; using information and communication technologies to provide platforms for young entrepreneurial talent; and utilizing education to unleash Africa’s enormous human capital.
